ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City’s fiscal year 2007/2008 budget.
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to purchase a placque to be placed at the Memorial Park. The placque will honor Texas City's fallen soldiers from the war in Iraq. The cost of the placque is $4,000, funds are available in the General Fund, under the Recreation & Tourism department.
