ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award the purchase of one (1) 2008 Mobile Command Center per the specifications in Bid # 2008-175.
BACKGROUND
Ordinance No. 08-04 was passed January 16, 2008 amending the 2007-2008 budget to accept donated funds from Dow Chemical to purchase an Emergency Response Mobile Command Center.
Bid packets were mailed to three (3) vendors on March 20, 2008. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low bid meeting all specifications was received from Mize Trailer Sales, in Alvin, for the total bid amount of $67,171.00.
It is my recommendation to award the purchase of one (1) 2008 Mobile Command Center to Mize Trailer Sales for the total bid amount of $67,171.00.
