ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City’s fiscal year 2007/2008 budget.
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to provide funding for the Engineering of the Central High Park Facilities and addition to the Showboat Pavilion. Bay Architects have been contracted to design a new recreational facility at Central High Park and a warming kitchen at the Showboat Pavilion. The engineering fees will be $230,000.00, which is approximately 7% of the estimated construction cost of $3,260,000.00. Funds are available in the General Fund.
