ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of Resolution No. 09-001 awarding the contract for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitaiton Project Phase XI.
BACKGROUND
This project includes approximately 20,000 linear feet of rehabilitation/replacement of sanitary sewer lines sized 8" diameter to 12" diameter.
ANALYSIS
Five bids were received. The low bidder was Horseshoe Construction, Inc. with a total bid of $1,192,065.00. Horseshoe Construction has performed numerous previous sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects for the City of Texas City and has always performed exceptionally well.
