ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award Bid # 2009-924 Water Disinfecting Chemicals Annual Contract; to be utilized by the Parks and Utilities Departments.
BACKGROUND
Bid packets were mailed to two (2) area vendors on November 18, 2008. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bid meeting all specifications was received from Progressive Commercial Aquatics, Inc., in Houston, for the unit prices bid.
It is my recommendation to award the annual contract to Progressive Commercial Aquatics, Inc. and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
