ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget to appropriate funds for lighting replacement along Texas Avenue from 14th Street to 6th Street.
BACKGROUND
The Texas City Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC), in their April 13, 2021 meeting, approved a project to replace existing lighting with decorative lighting along Texas Avenue from 14th Street to 6th Street. The cost of the project is $480,910, which will be funded from TCEDC's unassigned fund balance. Additional detail is included in the City Commission Resolution No. 21-028.
