Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 21-15, amending Ordinance No. 20-49 to amend the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year Budget to carry forward the Wireless Installation Equipment project. (Finance)

This Ordinance will amend Ordinance No. 20-49, not for the budget, but for future auditing purposes, Legal decided that we needed to clean up the language of Ordinance No. 20-49. The original Ordinance states that in order to achieve Citywide Wi-Fi, we would place a device on each water tower to spread an accessible signal to Texas City Residents.
 
With new research from Robert Turner, in conjunction with Resolution No. 21-045, to better permeate a Wi-Fi signal we will use a mobile unit. The money was already budgeted; this simply gives a better representation of how the money will be used to achieve the same goal.
