ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 21-052, approving the adoption of the 2020 CDBG Consolidated Plan and the 2020 & 2021 Action Plans and the submission of said plans to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
BACKGROUND
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the City of Texas City $424,785 for FY 2020 and $452,292 for FY 2021 pending receipt of the 2020 5-year Consolidated Plan and the 2020 & 2021 Annual Action Plans. The plans identify the needs of Texas City, the strategy as to how the City will meet those needs, and the actions that will be taken to implement the strategy.
