ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget to increase the Fire Department’s maintenance contracts budget for Axon fleet services.
BACKGROUND
See Resolution No. 21-086 authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. to provide fleet digital media recorder services for the Fire Department.
The five year agreement totals $183,180.00, with the first year cost being $36,636.00.
See the attached quote from Axon. This budget amendment is for the fiscal year 2021-2022 cost of $36,636.00. The remaining four years will be included in the respective budgets of those years.
