ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve the purchase of a rear load garbage truck for the Sanitation Department.
BACKGROUND
The Sanitation Department is requesting approval for the purchase of (1) 2022 rear loading garbage truck. This truck would be purchased from Scranton Manufacturing Company Inc., via BuyBoard Contract 599-19. The total price for this garbage truck is $163,449.00, which is funded in the 2021/2022 City of Texas City Budget's Capital Equipment Replacement Fund.

ANALYSIS
