The quote is for two-way handheld radios, two-way base unit (in car) radios, and required accessories. The additional radios are part of the equipment cost for the ten new police officer positions previously approved by commission (ordinance 22-03). The price of the equipment quoted is according to H-GAC Contract RA05-18, the total is $103,461.04
