ACTION REQUEST
Accept Patriot Award from the Department of Defense.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The Patriot Award is given to individuals who show support to service men and women through a wide range of measures including but not limited to, flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families and for granting leaves of absences.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Honorable Mayor, Dedrick D. Johnson accept the Patriot Award.
