ACTION REQUEST
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget to appropriate funds for purchase of ammonia specific air monitors.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Air Products' site manager and others recommended that the Air Products Foundation make a grant contribution to the Texas City Fire Department toward the purchase of NH3 (ammonia) detectors. Air Products Foundation has offered to purchase five ammonia specific air monitors. Air Products has provided the attached quote from Dragger for five monitors totaling $16,165.75.
A budget amendment is required for the receipt of funds from Air Products Foundation and then for the purchase of the monitors.
