ACTION REQUEST
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget to fund construction of Fire Station No. 4 access road.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Based on bids received for Bid #2023-426, Fire Station No. 4 Access Road Project, Public Works has recommended the construction contract be awarded to Lucas Construction Company, Inc. for the total amount of $346,244.00.
A budget amendment is needed to fund this project. It is the recommendation of the Finance Department to transfer funds from the General Fund Unassigned Fund Balance to the Construction Fund in the amount of $346,244.00.
