ACTION REQUEST
Consider authorizing the Director of Library Services to remove delinquent fees and fines that are attached to library patron accounts that expired prior to January 1, 2018.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
It is the practice of Moore Memorial Public Library to delete patron accounts that have expired for seven years or more. These accounts cannot be deleted until all fees and fines attached to those accounts have been removed. This process is done on an annual basis.
The total amount of the fees and fines to be deleted is $16,652.17.

RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the Director of Library Services is authorized to remove delinquent fees and fines that are attached to library patron accounts that expired prior to January 1, 2018.
