ACTION REQUEST

Seeking City Commission Approval of 2025-490 Right of Way Vegetation Management Contract with TREES LLC.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)

The Public Works yearly Right of Way Vegetation Management budget is used to trim and/or remove overgrown trees and vegetation occurring along or hanging over city streets at intersections, driveways, alleys, and sidewalks that can pose a safety threat to motorists/pedestrians due to limited visibility.  It also helps to reduce the possibility of damage to high-clearance vehicles operated by the city (fire trucks and ambulances) and residents.  

RECOMMENDATION

It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to consider and approve this item.  See Exhibit A
