ACTION REQUEST
Commission approval to enter into contract with ARKK Engineers to provide engineering and inspection services for the rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewer Lift stations 6 and 33 for necessary maintenance and to provide continued and improved sewer system service for the amount of $209,614.00.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The rehab of the COTC's sanitary sewer lift stations is an ongoing program to provide necessary maintenance and upgrades to these stations for the proper operation of moving sanitary waste to the treatment plant. These are expensive critical infrastructure assets that require continuous maintenance due to the corrosive nature of sanitary waste. See Exhibit A for details of the agreement....
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the Commission approve this request...
