ACTION REQUEST
Commission approval to award Tegrity Contractors the contract to construct the Shelter Expansion at Carver Center (GLO Contract No. 24-065-018-E175) in the amount of $2,307,777.00.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Six sealed bids were received Sealed bids were received on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Tegrity Contractors, Inc. of Allen, Texas submitted the low total bid in the amount of $2,307,777.00. From the review of the information provided in the bid proposal, listed references, and discussions with the contractor directly, the low bidder appears qualified to perform the work required and appears capable of completing the project. (For more details, see Exhibit A)
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department and KSA Engineering that the Commission approve entering into contract with Tegrity Contractors to complete the Shelter Expansion at Carver Community Center.
