ACTION REQUEST
Commission approval to enter into a contract with EI2 to rebuild Evoqua (brand) gravity thickener that is part of the sludge treatment unit in the amount of $105,260.00.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
This will be a turnkey job, with EI2 providing all parts, materials and fabrication required to complete the project. This is a budgeted item and this quote is within the budgeted amount ($110,000). EI2 is a sole source vendor for Evoqua. A letter is attached with the quote and description of the repair. For a detailed description of the process and Sole Source Letter, please (see Exhibit A)
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Utilities Department for Commission approval of a contract with E12.
