ACTION REQUEST
Request the approval of the purchase of a Chevrolet Tahoe for the Police Department fleet for FY26'.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The number of vehicles required to maintain the police fleet were calculated and quotes were obtained from Hendrick Automotive Group. Competitive quotes were included in the budget packet for FY 2026 and were approved. The pricing for the vehicle is in accordance with OMNIA contract # 159566. The total price of the vehicle is $54,789.65. The price for upfitting is $9,138.40 from vendor Dana Safety Supply, Inc.
RECOMMENDATION
The Chief and Command Staff recommend the purchase of this vehicle to maintain the fleet.
