ACTION REQUEST
Acknowledge the firefighters' successful completion of their first year of service (AKA Rookie Year)
Give them the official Firefighter Helmet Shield and take back the Probationary Firefighter Helmet Shield and get them to say the oath of office.
Firefighters making one year of service are Albrie Favalora, Bishop Wolffbrandt, and Terry Stenson.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Every firefighter must make it one year under heavy scrutiny to become a Texas City firefighter. To complete the task, you must show a deep dedication to the firefighting craft and proof that you have what it takes to make it in the Texas City Fire Department.
RECOMMENDATION
Allow Chief Harris to award them the Helmet Shield and give them the oath of office.
