ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of Resolution No. 10-XXX awarding the annual contract for the purchase of Liquefied Chlorine Gas. Approve and award Bid # 2010-952 Liquefied Chlorine Gas Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
Bid packets were mailed to area vendors on December 31, 2009. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bid meeting all specifications was received from DXI Industries, Inc., in Houston, for the unit price bid of $575.00 per cylinder.
It is my recommendation to award the Liquefied Chlorine Gas Annual Contract to DXI Industries, Inc. for the unit price bid and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
