ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City's fiscal year 2009/2010 budget.
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to make a contribution from the City to the Texas City Municipal Police Association (TCMPA). The contribution is to go towards the reduction of the principal due on the City's loan to TCMPA for the construction of the new TCMPA building. The loan agreement was approved by Commission at the March 3, 2010 meeting.
This contribution will result in a loan balance due the City of $175,000.00.
