ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2009/2010 budget to close 2008/2009 fiscal year purchase orders.
BACKGROUND
Purchase orders that are outstanding at the end of the fiscal year are to be canceled and rolled into the current fiscal year (2009/2010). Since encumbrances impact budgets, the current fiscal year’s budget must be increased to reflect outstanding encumbrances from the 2008/2009 fiscal year.
