ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 16-041, approving to award Bid # 2016-321 Water Line Replacement Project - Phase 15. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
A "Notice To Bidders" was advertised on April 6, 2016. The low responsible bid meeting all specification was received from Scohil Construction, LLC. for the total amount of $998,175.00.

ANALYSIS
The Utilities Department recommends the award of Bid # 2016-321 Water Line Replacement Project - 15 to Scohil Construction, LLC., for the total bid amount of $998,175.00 and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission. It is further recommended that the Mayor be authorized to approve change orders, not to exceed 25% of the total contract price without taking the matter before the City Commission.
