Consider and take action on Resolution No. 16-042, approving and awarding Bid # 2016-008 Laboratory Testing at the Wastewater Treatment Plant Annual Contract. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
On April 14, 2016, a "Notice To Bidders" was published and bid packets were mailed to area vendors. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.
ANALYSIS
The Utilities Department recommends the award of the annual contract for Bid # 2016-008 Laboratory Testing at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to Envirodyne Laboratories, Inc., in Houston, for the unit prices bid and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
