ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 16-044, approving and awarding the installation of three (3) covered pavilions at Haney Park, through BuyBoard - Local Government Purchasing Cooperative; for the total contract price of $61,970.00..

The delivering dealer is BJ's Park and Recreation Product.    

BACKGROUND

The Recreation & Tourism is currently working on various park improvements at Haney Park.  Three (3) concrete picnic units have been installed with two (2) BBQ grills.  Today's action will be to install three (3) 17'-6"x17'-6" covered pavilions.

The BuyBoard contract worksheet and drawings are attached for your review. 

ANALYSIS

It is the recommendation of the Recreation & Tourism Department to award the installation of three (3) covered pavilions at Haney Park, through BuyBoard contract # 423-12; for the total contract price of $61,970.00.  The pricing includes three (3) pavilions, installation, spread footings, permit allowances and Windstorm Inspection.
