ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of contract for supplemental water between Gulf Coast Water Authority and The City of Texas City.
BACKGROUND
This contract would allow Gulf Coast Water Authority to make arrangements with the Brazos River Authority on behalf of The City of Texas City in the event that severe drought conditions continue. The City of Texas City would be allocated approximately 465 million gallons of supplemental water for the period of April 8, 2011 through September 30, 2011 for the sum of approximately $107,000.00.
