Approve and award Bid # 2011-995 for the purchase and delivery of Chemicals and Fertilizer Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
Bids were mailed to area vendors on April 18, 2011. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bids meeting all specifications were received as follows, for the unit prices bid:
John Deere Landscapes - Cleveland, Ohio/Section 1: 15, 25, 27, 29 and 33
Section 2: 6 and 12
Ewing Irrigation - Friendswood, Texas/Section 1: 1 and 18
Section 2: 8
BWI - Houston, Texas/Section 1: 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 17, 19, 23, 26, 34 and 35
Sect ion 2: 3 and 5
Winfield Solutions - Houston, Texas/Section 1: 2, 5, 10, 12, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 28, 30, 31 and 32
Section 2: 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 10 and 11
It is my recommendation to award the Chemicals and Fertilizer Annual Contract as listed above, for the unit prices bid and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the contracts on behald of the City Commission.
