ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on resolution No. 17-007, approving the purchase and installation of Splash Pads at Baystreet (Rainbow) and Godard Parks through Buyboard – local government purchasing cooperative.
BACKGROUND
Attached are both proposals and contracts that include the design, plans and specifications. Baystreet (Rainbow) Park Splash Pad ($195,434.92) will be funded through the Texas City Dike fund. Godard Park Splash Pad ($94,563.18) will be funded through the Recreation and Tourism Expenditures Funds.
ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Recreation & Tourism Department to award the purchase and installation of Splash Pads at Baystreet (Rainbow) and Godard Park through BuyBoard – local government purchasing cooperative.
