ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City’s fiscal year 2016-2017 budget.
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to appropriate funds for the Bay Street and Dike Road Waterline Replacement Project. This project was approved by City Commission under Resolution 17-027.
Under that resolution, the bid was awarded to A Absolute Plumbing, Inc. for a cost of $168,413.75.
Funding will be provided by dike revenue.
