Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 17-20, amending the City of Texas City's Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget to appropriate funds for lighting and related work at Texas City Shooting Range.(Finance)
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to appropriate funds for Texas City Shooting Range lighting and related costs. Estimated total cost is $100,000.
Funds will come from General Fund Miscellaneous Income and General Fund unassigned fund balance.
ANALYSIS
Budget amendment is as follows:
General Fund:
Buildings and Grounds Expense - increase by $100,000.00
Miscellaneous Income - reduce by ($ 50,000.00)
Unassigned Fund Balance - reduce by ($ 50,000.00)
