ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-074, Approving a revised contract between the Galveston County Health District and the City of Texas City for water pollution control and abatement services. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
The City of Texas City is a member of the Galveston County Health District and responsible for the quality of the within it's jurisdiction, and has elected to contract for water quality services with the Galveston County Health District. Contractual and cover letter are attached for your review.
ANALYSIS
The City will agree to pay Performing Party an annual fee of $34,685.45 for the services set forth in the attached agreement and the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
