ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-30, approving expenditures for a mural on 6th Street.
BACKGROUND
Gabriel Prusmack, the artist who painted the mural at Bay Street Park, has offered to paint a "Welcome to Texas City" mural for the cost of materials. We have permission from the owners of the building located at 518 9th Avenue North to paint the mural on the north wall of the building. The cost of materials is $3,000.
