ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-33, approving debris removal on Shoal Point access roads not to exceed $15,000.
BACKGROUND
The road from the Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority to the City's property known as Shoal Point is cluttered with debris from Hurricane Harvey. We have current quotes at about $15,000, but are waiting for the final quotes. We hope that most of the removal will be FEMA eligible and will submit with the other FEMA requests. The road needs to be cleared for inspection of spoil deposits and access by our short-term lease with NextDecade.
