ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 18-029, approving a contract extension with In-Pipe Technology, LLC. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
This process has effectively been able to comply with the Sanitary Sewer Overflow Initiative entered into by the City of Texas City with TCEQ to reduce sewer overflows.
In-Pipe Technology Company, LLC, Wheaton Illinois, is a sole source provider.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the City Commission extend the Contract with In-Pipe Technology Company, LLC for a 24 month period at $14,200.00 per month. It is further requested that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract extension on behalf of the City Commission.
