Consider and take action on Resolution No.18-067,  approving and awarding the purchase of round tables and chairs for the Doyle Convention Center from Mitylite, Inc. through Buyboard (contract #503-16) – local government purchasing cooperative.

Currently the Convention Center has 1,000 chairs and 100 tables in its current inventory for the purpose of supporting various public and private events throughout the year. Attached is a request to replace with 1,000 open back stack ganging chairs, 80 aluminum 5ft. round tables and 2 chair dollies. The total cost $150,936.15. The chairs will come with a 12 year warranty on the frame and 12 months on the fabric and the tables have a limited lifetime warranty.

The Recreation and Tourism Department is recommending approving the purchase of new tables, chairs and chair dollies through Mitylite, Inc. Buyboard (contract #503-16) in the amount of $150,936.15.
