ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action to approve and award a contract for bid # 2018-353 Texas City Museum Exterior Wall Repairs.
BACKGROUND
On June 21, 2018 Notice To Bidders was published and bid packets were made available.
Bids were received and opened on July 10, 2018. The low responsible bidder meeting all requirements was Restoration Services, Inc. in Houston Texas for the bid amount of $90,945.00.
A letter of recommendation and bid tabulation are attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the City Commission award bid # 2018-353 Texas City Museum Exterior Wall Repairs to Restoration Services Inc. for the amount bid and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission. It is further recommended that the Mayor be authorized to execute change orders not to exceed 25% of the contract amount, without bringing the matter before the City Commission.
