ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 19-002, appointing additional members to the Charter Review Committee. (Management Services)
BACKGROUND
A couple of months ago, the City Commission appointed a Charter Review Committee. There were 10 members appointed. Phil Roberts feels it would be more prudent if he served only as a liaison and not a voting member. The consultant that spoke to the group felt the membership could be a bit larger and should have an odd number of voting members. January 14th the Charter Review Committee will start their initial review of the charter and Mayor Doyle would like an additional 4 people added to the committee. Names will be provided by Jan. 2nd.
