ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award Bid # 2019-360 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project - Phase 18.
BACKGROUND
Bid # 2019-360 was advertised in the Galveston County Daily News December 03, 2019 and bid packets were made available through civcastusa.com. Bids were received, opened and read aloud on December 20, 2018 at 11 am.

ANALYSIS
The Public Works Department along with ARKK Engineers, recommend the award of Bid # 2019-360 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project - Phase 18 to King Solution Services, LLC, the lowest responsible bidder for the total amount of $1,099,155.00.
We further recommend that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission and be authorized to approve change orders not to exceed 25% of the total contract price without taking the matter before the City Commission.
