ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 19-02, amending the City's fiscal year 2018-2019 budget to appropriate funds for Moore Memorial Library improvements project.
BACKGROUND
| Resolution No. 18-123, approving an agreement with Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott, Inc. to contract for architectural services was approved by City Commission on 11/7/2018. |
The architect agreement would be for $100,000. Anticipated costs of the library renovations plus furniture and fixtures would be $1.7 million. Grand total project cost: $1.8 million. This renovation would include:

$25,000 of the architect fees will be funded through the Mae Dixon Blalock Estate Fund and the remainder of the architect fees and renovation costs will be funded by Texas City Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC).
