ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Review applicant and select recipients for the 2019 Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation Scholarship.
BACKGROUND
In October 2018, scholarship applications were delivered to Texas City High School, La Marque High School and Dckinson High School. Students fom each high school wee given until April 18, 2019, to submit their completed application and required paperwork.
The Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation Board members are responsible for selecting 3 recipients to award the scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00. The recipients will be submitted to each district for the awards banquet. As of the deadline April 18, 2019, we are in receipt of one (1) completed application that meet all scholarships requirements.
