Consider and take action on Resolution No. 19-38, approving the acceptance of Deeds from the Fuller Center.

In March, we deeded two properties to the Fuller Center (a non-profit) that is assisting in the Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts to build or do major repairs for homes.  We deeded two properties with the expectation they would build two homes over $150,000 in value on vacant lots that had been delinquent and part of the PIT inventory.  As it turns out, there are homes in the Industrial Business District (IBD) that need to be relocated and to simplify the process, similar to the IKE program the TCEDC participated in several years ago, it is better if we exchange lots directly with the property owners.  So, the Fuller Center is deeding the two properties back to the TCEDC for use later on the agenda to exchange with property owners who were affected by Harvey and need to relocate.
