ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 20-003, appointing of City Attorney. (Management Services)
BACKGROUND
With the resignation of the City Attorney - Lyons and Plackemeier, the City Commission needs to appoint a new City Attorney. Similar to the appointment of the Lyons and Plackemeier that had Russell Plackemeier the primary counselor representing the City, the Mayor is recommending Murray-Lobb, PLLC, who is desgnating the primary individual to represent the City of Texas City to be Kyle Dickson - a resident of Texas City and a practicing attorney with the firm.
