Consider and take action on Resolution No. 20-02, Approving the payment to U.S. Army Core of Engineers for the Shoal Point Permit Extension and Budget Amendment.

The US Army Corps of Engineers now charge for all permits that go through their office.  Even though the City is only extending an existing permit, the USACE is charging for the extension.  In addition, the old extensions no longer go through a simple process and the original permit did not go through a Form 408 process which is much more in-depth and complicated.  The review of the permit is estimated at $39,500.  Since it is for the economic development of Shoal Point, it is felt it is better the TCEDC pay the permit fee.
