Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City's fiscal year 2019-20 budget.

A budget amendment is needed to appropriate funds for necessary work to be done in and around the recently acquired building at 7800 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway.

From Public Works department: 

Below is an estimate of work to be done to the new building:

·       Parking lot                        $300,000

·       New flooring                    $45,000

·       Replace light fixtures      $4,500

·       A/C repairs                       $18,000

·       New walls / repainting   $20,000

·       Technology                       $7,500

·       Building signage              $5,000

 

Estimated Total:                            $400,000
