Consider and take action on Resolution No. 20-13, approving the purchase of PIT properties South of Texas Avenue and between 6th Street and 34th Street.

The TCEDC has acquired PIT properties in the IBD to facilitate the removal of structures and getting the property back on the tax rolls by selling the property to the plants, etc.  Marathon has shown and interest in these 11 properties that the TCEDC had previously approved selling to Marathon as a group, however, it was discovered these 11 properties were still PIT properties.  By acquiring these properties, they will be included in the IBD properties we approved to be sold to Marathon in January.
