Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City's fiscal year 2019-20 budget.

A budget amendment is needed to fund a 12-inch water line extension along FM 3436.  Funding will come from the Zone 2 Water Impact Fees from developers.

In Summer 2018 the City installed a 12-inch water line along FM 3436 to provide service to a new DISD Junior High School

There is an approved project to construct a Boat & RV Storage business on 10 acres north of the DISD school site.

The City and Boat Storage owner are partnering to extend the 12-inch water line to the new project.

This project will be 1720 feet of 12-inch water line and is estimated to cost $260,000.
