Approve and award a contract for bid # 2020-388 West Annex & Biosphere Facility Parking Lots Improvement Project.
BACKGROUND
September 11th and 18th notice was published and bid packets were made available from ARKK Engineers, through CivCastUSA. Bids were received and opened on September 29th
The lowest responsible bidder meeting all requirements is Lucas Construction Company, Inc. for the total bid amount of $599,777.00.
A letter of recommendation with bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department, and ARKK Engineers, that the City Commission award this project to Lucas Construction Company, Inc. for the total amount of $599,777.00. and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission. Public Works further requests that the Mayor be authorized to execute change orders, not to exceed 25% of the contract amount, without bringing the matter before the Commission.
