Approve and award a contract for bid # 2021-404 1 MG Elevated Water Tank at Lago Mar.
BACKGROUND
On March 30, 2021 and April 6,2021, a notice to bidders wad advertised in the local newspaper and bid packets were made available to local businesses through CivCastUSA and ARKK Engineers, LLC.. On April 21, 2021 @ 11:00 a.m. bids were opened and read aloud.
The lowest responsible bidder meeting all of the requirements was Landmark Structures I., L.P. for the total amount $4,268,000.00.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the City Commission award the contract for bid # 2021-404 1 MG Elevated Water Storage Tank at Lago Mar to Landmark Structures I, L.P., for the total amount of $4,268,000.00 and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission. The Public Works Department further recommends that the Mayor be authorized to approve any change orders, not to exceed 25% of the total contract amount, without bringing the matter before the City Commission.
